Laura Briers is a Crop Research Scientist at Dyson Farming, bringing over nine years of experience in crop physiology, controlled environment agriculture, and field trial management. With a PhD in Plant Physiology from the University of Nottingham, Laura has led research on wheat wild relatives to improve photosynthesis and yield, presenting her findings at major conferences across Europe.

Before joining Dyson Farming, Laura held roles as a Plant Scientist at Light Science Technologies and as a Senior Technician at the University of Nottingham, where she managed sugar beet trials, crop processing labs, and plant physiology equipment. She also contributed to collaborative R&D projects with external partners and supported grant applications through high-quality data collection.
