Hannah Wileman

Glasshouse Research Scientist

Hannah studied Biomedical Science at the University of Hertfordshire, where she completed a placement with Public Health England’s Food and Water Proficiency Testing Unit. She later worked as a Research Assistant in Plant Pathology, validating a strawberry powdery mildew prediction system and studying the effects of silicon on strawberry crops. She went on to complete a PhD focused on yolk proteins in beet-cyst nematodes, deepening her expertise in plant and soil interactions.

Now at Dyson Farming, Hannah will lead the practical management of the glasshouse research programme, coordinating day-to-day trial operations, data collection, and environmental monitoring. Her multidisciplinary background and hands-on experience make her a key contributor to the team’s success.
